Before installing CompassCAD, ensure that you meet these specifications. Specifications may differ on how you tweak or modify the app by source code, but we’ll display the specs needed for the official build ✨

To install from Windows, you can do the following. You’ll also require administrator privileges (or else file linking won’t work)

⚠️ Note: these steps are replicated inside a virtual machine, so the method would vary from one to another

Either go into the releases page or the homepage to download the latest CompassCAD version available.
- ⚠️ Warning: Never trust third-party sites hosting free CompassCAD downloads. Softpedia, GitHub, Sourceforge are the only official sources trusted by us. Downloading anywhere other than those specified by us will pose a risk (such as viruses, malware, trojan) that we cannot control nor guarantee.
Double-click the installer file. This will immediately ask you for admin access
After the installation went flawless, enjoy!
